Pioneer Days in 2017  July 15th and 16th

Join us for Pioneer Days features our steam engine and tractor parades.

During the weekend you can see all kinds of equipment in motion like the the dynamometer, buzz saw, the log planner, bundle threshing, plowing and life demonstrations of blacksmithing, wheelwright,  log sawing and planning, rope making, grinding wheat to flour in our grist mill (you can take it home and try it out) or horse drawn wagon rides. Other heritage demonstrations show the art of soap and butter making, heritage crafts, wool carding, lard rendering, clay oven baking and other stuff our Pioneers needed to do for their survival.

Pioneer Days also features musical entertainment by local musicians, morning breakfast, lots of food, popcorn, candy and ice-cream cones.

Kid will have fun in the Bouncing Castle and other activities like facepainting etc.

 

The events schedule is sure to keep you busy for the weekend.

 

 

Please Note:

Visitors Pets are not allowed within the museum site, except for Service Animals for people with disabilities and working dogs.
